The 6 in. chef's utility knife is one of the most versatile knives Red Forgeworks has to offer. The shape of the blade is inspired by the Finnish Puuko knife style, and is designed to be as useful in the kitchen as it would be hunting in the mountains. This knife has the following features:

- Inspired by the traditional Scandinavian Puukko style knife

- 6" Hand-forged 154CM high carbon, stainless steel blade, 9" total length

- Exceptionally sharp and durable

- Full tang handle with your choice of reclaimed or locally harvested wood (contact us at redforgeworks at gmail.com to see what is currently available)

- Distally tapered blade for durability

- Blade edge is hardened and tempered to approx. 63 Rockwell C hardness

- Blade is differentially tempered twice, producing a tougher blade with a higher hardness edge than a typical single temper knife of the same composition

- Blade is cryogenically frozen between tempers, increasing edge-holding ability, toughness, and stain-resistance

- Signed with the maker's signature "R" touchmark
